Meet Dr. Lee
Dr. Lee has been in Fort Wayne since the mid sixties. He went through elementary school and high school in the Snider district and graduated in 1976. From there he went to Indiana University where he graduated in 1981. After college he attended Indiana University School of Dentistry until 1985. He did his residency in Periodontics at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Once finished he returned to Fort Wayne to establish his practice as a Periodontic Specialist in 1987.
He has been active in the organization of dentistry serving as president of the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society in 2001 and the society’s Dental Education Foundation. He has also served as a delegate to the Indiana Dental Association for over 15 years and a delegate to the American Dental Association for 10 years. He served as the chairman for the IDA Council on membership for three years. He still maintains a strong relationship with leadership of the IDA.
Personally he has been active both playing hockey throughout this youth and into college at IU and Kentucky. He has coached hockey with his two boys from early years through high school and has devoted time to the organization of youth and high school hockey. His daughter is active in cheerleading and volleyball.
His family has long been connected to the medical community in Fort Wayne. His father founded Orthopedics North East and has a brother as a physician there today. He has another brother here as a plastic surgeon. He has two sisters, one here in Fort Wayne and another in Seattle as an orthopedist as well.
